Working with management buyout teams and Private Equity (PE) investors demands a particular set of skills and experience.

Particular areas where we work with management teams, PE investors and their investee companies are as follows:
Management teams. We work with and support management teams who are within PE backed businesses, or who are looking to be backed by PE. This could be assisting incumbent teams undertaking a management buyout or teams who have identified an opportunity to buy-in to a business using PE backing. We also support and advise management teams within PE backed businesses looking to exit.
Buy-side support. We support PE investors in getting a deal done; adding skilled resource and experience to a deal team; taking on an overall project management role and assisting with deal delivery at critical times. This can be pre- or post-exclusivity.
Portfolio support. We advise investee companies of PE investors to help in times of need. This could be acquisition support; support to a CFO on a discrete project or even debt or equity re-structuring.
Deal origination. We work with PE investors to help them identify new deals. This can include sector research; target identification and analysis; and approaches to targets.
Debt advisory. As part of delivering a transaction we work with PE investors to advise and assist with the procurement and structuring of transactional debt. We also work with PE backed businesses to advise on debt raising, structuring and bank negotiations in times of need.
