The team
Steve joined Transcend in 2014 bringing 20 years corporate finance experience. He trained at PwC, moving to become a partner in the London corporate finance group at BDO. He has particular expertise in leveraged finance and private equity. He blends senior level experience with a hands-on style.
Craig is a Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Transcend Corporate.
He has over ten years of experience advising on corporate transactions in the Midlands marketplace, working for a boutique corporate finance practice and two top ten accounting firms prior to joining Transcend in May 2023.
Amolak is an Executive in the Transcend M&A team. He joined in January 2025 and was previously at Grant Thornton where he qualified as a chartered accountant.
Ian founded Transcend in 2009 following a long career in Private Equity and M&A with BDO, Ernst & Young and PwC, most recently leading BDO’s M&A team in the Midlands.
Chris joined Transcend in January 2021. He trained at KPMG and has spent over 25 years working on M&A in both industry and corporate finance advisory. Chris has worked with management teams on buy side, sell side and post-acquisition integrations in both corporate and private equity situations.
Michaela joined Transcend in September 2025 as a PA.
She joined us from Gowling WLG where she provided support to banking and finance Partners and Associates.
Prior to Gowling Michaela worked for a range of blue chip companies in team support roles.
