Craig is a Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Transcend Corporate.

He has over ten years of experience advising on corporate transactions in the Midlands marketplace, working for a boutique corporate finance practice and two top ten accounting firms prior to joining Transcend in May 2023.

Craig began his career at Deloitte LLP, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant while part of their Audit and Advisory team.

Alongside his corporate finance advisory experience, Craig has around seven years of experience working in industry. Craig has led the Financial Planning and Analysis functions of two domestic energy retail businesses and the aftermarket division of FTSE 250 listed Meggitt plc in the aerospace sector.

Craig is an Economics graduate from the University of Birmingham and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

  • Sale of Serchem, a manufacturer of cleaning chemicals, to a private buyer
  • Sale of Turtle Doves (Not Just Gloves), a manufacturer of recycled cashmere clothing accessories, to Celtic & Co
  • Sale of Sierraville, a castle-based wedding venue, to a trade buyer
  • Sale of Ernest Engineering, a manufacturer of metal inserts of the plastics industry, to Stuart Whitehouse Industries
  • Sale of CC Electronics, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards, to i4 Plus.
  • Sale of CS Labels, a manufacturer of labels for bottles and cans, to Accent Group, a Belgian trade buyer backed by Waterland , a Dutch private equity funder.
  • VIMBO of Corporate Solutions Logistics, a haulage business. Debt funding raised from Barclays.
  • VIMBO of Lovell trucks, a commercial truck repair business
  • Sale of CGI Insurance, an insurance broking business, to Partners&
  • Sale of NDS Plant, a rail plant hire business, from Network Rail to Ombros Group
  • The sale of Becketts Foods Ltd, a Bacon Slicer, to ZMI / Tonnies, a German food processing business.
  • Sale of Midland Precision, a precision engineering business in the oil and gas sector, to Gabbro Precision.
  • Sale of Opella, a toilet fitting and flushing mechanism product manufacturer, to Fluidmaster.
  • Sale of Clifford House, a domiciliary care and fostering agency, to Advanced Childcare.
  • Acquisition of Tile Rite, a manufacturer of tile trim and other tiling products, by Homelux Nenplas. Supported by Yorkshire Bank.
  • Raising of additional development capital from Maven Capital Partners by Lawrence Recycling.
  • Purchase from administration of H Beesley, a precision engineering company, by Bromford Industries.
  • Purchase from administration of Steelcraft, a precision engineering company, by Bromford Industries.
  • MBO from administration of Accutronics, a bespoke battery manufacturer and designer. Supported with equity funding from Catapult.
  • Acquisition of a French site of Menzolit, a chemical manufacturer of plastics, by IDI.
  • Bolt on acquisition of Clearaway, a commercial waste collection business, by Lawrence Recycling
  • Raised development capital from Maven Capital Partners and Barclays to complete the largest indoor recycling facility on Europe for Lawrence Recycling and Waste Management.
  • Assisted the MBO of Hill Hofstetter / Reed Smith, a Midlands based legal practice. Provided assistance with financial forecasting and handholding to completion
