The business services team at Transcend Corporate, led by Steve Bartlett, and supported by Harvey Thiara, have advised the management team of Mentor Group Limited (“Mentor”) on the successful MBO of the business from its founders.
Mentor Group is a sales enablement and transformation consultancy that delivers bespoke consultancy, enablement, and coaching programmes to support enterprise clients’ sales initiatives via a network of skilled and trusted global consultants. The business has built up a successful track record over 20 years, and recently has built a proprietary learning experience technology platform, Kairos, which enhances the customer experience through various innovative features.
The MBO had been led by the incumbent management team of Matt Webb (CEO), James Barton (CSO), Jack Smith (CFO) and Jane Hall (NED), with funding from Frontier Development Capital, the flexible long-term debt provider.
